MOGADISHU (SD) -The Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Hamza Abdi Barre, chaired a meeting to discuss strategies for improving economic growth and government policies, in line with the Comprehensive Government Plan for Somalia’s state-building.
To achieve economic stability and alleviate poverty, Prime Minister Hamza stated that his government will prioritize the development of key sectors such as education, healthcare, agriculture, livestock, fisheries, infrastructure, and urban development.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of coordination between ministries to ensure effective implementation of economic strategies, urging them to work together closely to achieve the government’s goal of economic stability and development in Somalia.
The meeting also included presentations on the African Development Bank’s strategic program and the National Development Plan, as well as the ministries’ plans for economic development.
