MOGADISHU (SD) -The Minister of Finance of the Federal Government of Somalia, Bihi Iman Egeh, held a productive meeting at the Ministry of Finance headquarters with the Representative of the World Bank in Somalia, Krystina Svensson.

The meeting focused on the financial and developmental support that the World Bank provides to the Somali government. It also addressed matters related to financial management improvement and the enhancement of the overall financial management system.

The discussions also touched upon the ongoing development projects supported by the World Bank in Somalia and how to strengthen the collaboration between the World Bank and the Somali government, particularly with the agencies responsible for implementing projects.

The World Bank continues to contribute both financial and Technical support to Somalia, aiming to boost economic development and improve the effectiveness of government institutions.
