Tripoli December 25, 2022 (SD) – Somalia’s Minister of Information Daoud Awes Jama, attending the meeting of Ministers of Information of the Arab League in Libya, asked the Arab world to support Somalia’s war against Al Shabaab.

The Minister added that the Arab world is greatly affected by the influence of false news spread by the terrorist group and those who oppose peace in the war-torn country.

The minister called it necessary that the member countries unite against the militants. Finally, the minister called on the Arab League to fully support Somalia’s war against al-Shabaab, which he said could lead to full stability in Somalia.

Many Somalis believe that the Arab and Islamic countries have not played their role in the restoration of the country’s government.
