Mogadishu (SD) – The Somali Minister of Health Fawzia Abikar Nur on her daily briefing to the nation announced number of new COVID-19 infections in the country.
The minister of Health confirmed 64 new COVID-19 cases, signaling a sustained spread of the virus in the country.

Benadir region confirmed 33 new cases, Galmudug administration has reported 8 new cases and South West Administration confirmed 7 cases.
The independent Somaliland administration confirming 16 new cases.
The total confirmed number of cases is at 1,421, with 1 patient dying and 4 patients recovering.
The minister declared that there is a great need for controlling the disease and that the community should take extra precautions and contact their doctors if they have any symptoms. also for the community to strive for a culture of prevention of COVID-19 infection, especially young people as they are the most affected and protected their parents.
