Mogadishu (SD) – The Somali Government’s Minister of Health Dr. Fawzia Abikar Nur updated the nation on the growing cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.

The Minister announced 35 new confirmed cases, by 3 different regional administrations.

Benadir region confirmed new 24 cases, 8 new cases in Puntland, and 3 in Somaliland. The total number of cases is at 1089 cases, 1 patient died while 3 patients recovered.

The Minister said that we will not get tired of repeating the awareness messages and that we will do our utmost to control the prevalence of infection in our communities.
