Mogadishu (SD) – The federal government of Somalia has expelled Abdullahi Iman Somalia’s executive director of CARE International.
The Ministry of Education has accused Care’s executive director of ignoring government policies and creating tensions between the Somali federal government and regional governments.
“We have informed government officials, donors as well as our education partners of the urgent decision to expel Care International’s representative from Somalia.” said the Somali Education ministry.

“While in office you went on a campaign to disrupt the progress of education, creating chaos and mistrust between the federal government of Somalia, regional governments and their education supporters,” the statement said.
Finally, the Ministry of Education said that the officer can no longer continue to work in the country, and is working on deporting him.
