BOSSASO (SD)-The ship belonging to Bangladesh, which Somali pirates hijacked, is expected to run out of essential supplies soon.
MV Abdullah is still held by pirates, although there were reports of negotiations with the owners.
The maritime authorities and ship owners confirmed the news to the local media.
The ship had a food supply that could last for about 25 days when it was hijacked on March 12th, but the pirates used up the supplies within 16 days.
The vessel, which departed from Mozambique and was bound for the United Arab Emirates, could have a journey of up to 15.
