Mogadishu (SD) -The Somali federal interior minister Mr. Abdi Mohamed Sabriye, gave details of the final meetings of the technical committees of the Somalia-Somaliland talks in Djibouti.
The minister said the technical committee meetings have taken place accordingly and have achieved some progress.
“The goal of the conference was to restart the bilateral dialogue, it is a difficult task, and we have worked hard and are committed to built on our preliminary gains and deal with all the issues that are on the table.” said the interior minister of the federal government of Somalia.
The ministers statement comes as the federal government and the government of Somaliland announced in a released communiqué that in 15 days they would return to Djibouti, to continue the talks that resumed this week.
