Mogadishu (SD) – Flights between Somalia and Kenya resumed on Sunday after a hiatus, after the Kenyan government announced that it has temporarily suspended flights to and from Somalia.
Flights to and from Kenya began today at Aden Adde International Airport, and the move was welcomed by people traveling between the two countries who have struggled with the suspended flights.
The Kenyan government recently announced that it has allowed all flights to and from Somalia, following an agreement was reached on the dispute between the two countries.
Somalia and Kenya are also expected to re-establish diplomatic relations and reopen embassies that have been closed for some time due to the escalating conflict between the two countries.
The governments of Kenya and Somalia have not yet released any information regarding the resumption of the flights between the two countries.
