Mogadishu July 24,2019(SD)-The Somali government has reacted to a report published in the New York Times in which the Qatari government is linked the bombing of Bossaso.

Somali Foreign Minister Ahmed Isse Awad, in an interview with VOA, said they had discussed the issue with Qatar and they denied it.

The minister said Qatar’s ambassador to Somalia visited him, and that Somalia was satisfied with his explanation.

The NY times report was taken seriously by Puntland authorities, President Deni of Puntland requested that the Federal Government to investigate the report.
