DOHA (SD) – The Minister of Justice and Constitutional Affairs of the Federal Government of Somalia, Mr. Hassan Moalin Mahmoud, signed the MAKA Agreement on Anti-Corruption in Doha, Qatar, along with other member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
This important agreement aims to strengthen international cooperation in fighting corruption, promoting accountability, transparency, and good governance.
Minister Hassan Moalin stated that this agreement demonstrates the Somali government’s commitment to combating corruption and improving justice and transparency in public institutions.
Although the Somali government has signed this agreement, the country remains plagued by corruption and injustice, which has led to setbacks in many areas.
