Somalia’s council of ministers discuss cooperation with Norway

MOGADISHU (SD)-In its weekly meeting today, the Council of Ministers of the Federal Government of Somalia reviewed the revision of the National Identity and Civil Registration Law and the Political Cooperation Agreement between Somalia and Norway.

Chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Salah Ahmed Jama, the meeting included briefings on the country’s security provided by the Ministries of Internal Security and Defense.

Officials from both ministries presented reports to the Council of Ministers regarding ongoing military operations and efforts to stabilize the country’s security situation.

Additionally, the Council received reports on work-related trips undertaken by their respective ministries abroad, including the Ministries of Health and Social Services, Communications and Technology, Finance, Transport and Airports, and Agriculture and Livestock, showcasing the successes achieved during their visits.
