Somalia’s PM condemns the violence and oppression Palestinian’s are facing

MANAMA (SD) -Prime Minister of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Hamza Abdi Barre, who participated in the 33rd Summit of the Arab League, discussed the challenges and opportunities facing Arab countries and stressed the importance of unity in addressing them.

The Prime Minister reiterated Somalia’s historical position, emphasizing the solidarity with the Palestinian cause and condemning the violence and oppression they face.

He called for an immediate cessation of hostilities and full compliance with the resolutions of the United Nations Security Council.

Prime Minister Hamza Abdi Barre also briefed the heads of state of the Arab nations on the current situation in Somalia, highlighting the successes achieved in the fight against extremism, the restructuring of security institutions, national reconciliation efforts, and progress toward Somali sovereignty despite obstacles posed by the government in Addis Ababa.

He also outlined investment opportunities and the benefits of investing in Somalia and urged leaders of Arab League countries to support Somalia’s state-building efforts, emphasizing the importance of their investment support.
