Mogadishu (SD) – Somali Federal Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble has today sent an election related memorandum to the presidents of the country’s regional member states.

A statement from Prime Minister Roble’s office reminded the federal member state leaders that the deadline for nominating members to the Federal, State and Dispute Resolution Committees is about to pass.

Mohamed Roble called on the leaders of the regions to nominate the members of the two commissions in accordance with the rules of procedures agreed upon, in accordance with the agreement reached on Somalia’s 2020/2021 elections.

Prime Minister Roble asked the regional leaders to submit the names of the members of the two commissions by October 20, 2020, taking into account the participation of women.

Roble’s remarks come as he himself has not yet named his cabinet
