Berbera (SD)- The Somaliland government recentlysespended a Som Petroleum oil tanker at Berbera port for the last few days, according to sources.
The Government is yet to say why the tanker isn’t unloaded, leading to speculations as to why that is.
During the time Som Petroleum tanker was at Berbera port, other ships were allegedly offloaded, eliminating storage availability issues.
Sources close to Som Petroleum said the owners are beginning to feel as though they are tribally targeted, and that other ships with ties to the government were offloaded.
So far there has been no official statement from the government of Muse Bihi regarding the ship, as no known oil embargo is imposed on Somaliland territories.
