Hargeisa(SD)-Somaliland security forces have detained one of the artists who participated in the 21st anniversary of the formation of Puntland government.

Abdirisaq Ismail Anshah, who has been in the Puntland region for some time and participated in the Puntland formation ceremony, arrived in Hargeisa today, and has being arrested by Somaliland forces.

Poet Mohamed Dhagafe Elmi, a close friend of Anshah, confirmed his arrest.

Some of the artists who attended the commemoration of August 1st who reached Hargeisa today were not arrested.

Anshah is from Somali State of Ethiopia but was living in Hargeisa before his arrest today.
