Kismayo(SD)-AMISOM forces commander Tigabu Yilma is due to visit Kismayo the administrative capital of Jubaland today.
The visit comes amid growing tensions between the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) forces, specifically the Ethiopians and the Kenyans in the southern port city of Kismayo.
Also, the Jubaland forces turned away an Ethiopian airliner attempting to land in Kismayo after Ahmed Madobe forces suspected it was carrying soldiers.
Attempts by Ethiopian troops to gain entry into Kismayo airport have also been blocked by the Kenyan contingent of AMISOM.
All of this comes at a time when Kismayo is in the process of preparing for an election, despite the federal government opposing the electoral process.
