Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland Police and RRU forces have carried out an operation at the Dar es Salaam mosque in Hargeisa’s Sha’ab district last night.

The Security forces raiding the mosque, caused a substantial damage to the windows.

The target of the operation was an alleged suicide bomber in the mosque, causing fear and panic among neighbors of the Dar es Salaam mosque in the Sha’ab neighborhood.

The operation carried out by the security forces, napped youths said to be in charged of the mosque.

The youths regained their freedom today after information received by the authorities turned out to be false and that there were no suicide bombers in the mosque.

Security forces and youths arrested at the mosque have not commented on the operation that damaged the Dar es Salaam mosque.
