HARGEISA (SD) – Following the Somaliland House of Representatives discussion yesterday on the general situation in the country, particularly the drought, a meeting was convened by the House Working Committee consisting of the Speaker and the Chairpersons of the House Sub-Committees.

After that meeting, the Speaker of the House, Mr. Abdirizak Khalif, explained the Resolutions to the House Working Committee.

Somaliland House of Representatives Donated $ 50,000 to Drought Relief.

The Somaliland House of Representatives also called on the Somaliland Government, International and Local Agencies, Business, Donor Governments and the Somaliland Diaspora to provide immediate assistance to those affected by the drought and to contribute to the relief efforts of the people and the world.
