Hargeisa (SD) – A meeting held today at the headquarters of the Somaliland Ministry of Information between Minister Saleban Ali Koore and Somaliland journalists, focused on how to save SOLJA and return the organization’s control to the country’s journalists.

Minister Koore acknowledged the concerns expressed by the journalists with SOLJA’s upcoming conference, with the minister expressing his support for the journalists.

The Somaliland journalists who met with the Minister today agreed that they will decide their destiny, and will never stand a side and allow someone else run the affairs of their organization.

Somaliland journalists have recently expressed concern over the upcoming SOLJA conference in Hargeisa, called on all stakeholders for support.
