Lasanod (SD) – A delegation led by the Minister of Information Suleman Yusuf Kore who has been visiting Lasanod for the last few days has explored different markets and trades in that city today.

The minister also met with the administration of Sool region and Lasanod district’s Covid19 committee, and the minister heard Covid-19 committee’s preventive actions.

The minister said the government was prepared to speed up the prevention and control of Covid-19, especially Sool Region.

The Somaliland minister of Information’s visit comes at a time when political tensions are high in the region and a border dispute with Puntland is also a possibility.
