Berbera (SD) – The President of the Republic of Somaliland, Mr. Muse Bihi Abdi, has today unveiled the first 12KM of the highway from Berbera to Wajale (Berbera Corridor.

Eng. Tahir Mehmood on behalf of Nael $ Bin Harmal Hydaroexport Establishment (NBHH) gave details of the construction of Berbera Corridor, saying he was committed to the completion of the Berbera Corridor, which is important for the entire Republic of Somaliland.

Minister of Transport and Highway Development, Mr. Abdullahi Abokor Osman, also explained the changes in quality and size of the new road and the contrasted with the old and short-lived roads.

The minister said the current completed 12 KMs are open to the use of the transit community.

The President of the Republic of Somaliland, HE Muse Bihi Abdi, who spoke at the unveiling, thanked the officials of the Ministry of Transport and Road Development for their efforts to complete the Berbera Corridor, for its good work and co-operation.
