Hargeisa (SD) – Reliable sources have confirmed that the Vice President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Abdullahi Ismail Saylici has finally gave up his candidacy as the fourth Vice Chairman of the Kulmiye party.

Abdirahman Saylici the Vice President of Somaliland who currently holds the post was challenged by the country’s Minister of Commerce Mohamud Hassan Sa’ad Sajin.

A mediation meeting attended by the President Muse Bihi concluded the fierce rivalry between the two candidates who finally agreed on Sajin’s candidacy for the post.

The debate between these two government officials from Awdal region has but lots pressure on the ruling parties upcoming convention.

There has been no official word on the agreement so far, but the two officials are scheduled to speak to the media tomorrow.
