Hargeisa (SD) – Somcable presented awards to its best employees last year at a ceremony in Hargeisa.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Investment, the Director General of the Ministry of Employment, Social Affairs and Family and other officials.

Abdirizak Abdirahman Hassan Rakuub, the company’s head of public relations, and Hassan Colhaye, a human resources officer, both spoke about the role of the employees, their development and how the company rewards its employees who have performed well in 2020, pointing out that the employees are the assets of the company, and that these employees are rewarded for their good customer service and dedication.

According to Somcable’s management promised its employees of the company that they will provide free education in the country’s universities.

The Director General of the Somaliland Ministry of Employment, Social and Family Affairs, Abdirashid Ibrahim Sheikh Abdirahman, praised Somcable’s role in employee development and job creation in the country.

Somaliland Minister of Investment Mohamed Ahmed Mohamud (Cawed) also addressed the ceremony, congratulating Somcable on the recognition it gave to its best 2020 employees, and for encouraging them to continue.

36 Somcable employees from different regions of Somaliland were awarded certificates and awards at the ceremony.
