Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland’s UCID opposition party has today held its fourth party convention in the capital Hargeisa.
The conference opened today with the election of Said Omar Ahmed as the chair of the conference, while Abdulsalam Sheikh Ibrahim Tubeec and Bashir Hamari were elected as the convention chairpersons.
The two day conference is attended by party delegates, politicians from the other Waddani opposition party and international guests.
UCID Chairman Faisal Ali in his opening speech critizesed President Bihi for wanting to extend his term and open the registration of the political associations ahead of time.
Faisal Ali Warabe spoke harshly to Muse Bihi and said that if the presidential election does not take place, You are no longer the president, no organizations can be registered ahead of the next November Presidential election.
