Hargeisa (SD) – The Vice President of Somaliland, HE Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail Saylici, has concluded the two-day National Development Conference in Hargeisa, the capital of Somaliland.

The conference in Hargeisa discussed Somaliland’s position on the global agenda for 2030.

The Vice President of Somaliland, Abdirahman Abdilahi Ismail, in addressed the gathering said “There are a lot of efforts going on in the world to improve the lives of the people and the goal is always to reach the top, we are part of that community and we are a young and developing country, our main goal is to bring about the development of our nation, such as health, the environment, energy, all of which are interconnected and inevitable.”

The conference did not provide details what plans the Somaliland government will implement in order to achieve the said initiatives.
