BORAMA (SD) – The President of the Republic of Somaliland, His Excellency Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), inaugurated the fourth national-level conference on employment and labor, organized by the Ministry of Employment, Social Affairs, and Family.
The event was attended by members of the Council of Ministers, heads of various government institutions, the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, the Governor of Maroodi-Jeeh Region, officials from universities across the country, representatives from major companies, and other distinguished guests.
The focus of the conference was on generating innovative and practical ideas related to employment and labor. The Minister of Employment, Social Affairs, and Family, Ms. Milgo Mohamed Sanbalooshe, described the purpose of the national conference as creating a platform to bring together experts and stakeholders to discuss strategies for job creation and to provide youth with information on employment opportunities and labor market trends.
She also emphasized the need to implement national-level policies and laws related to employment and labor.
President Abdirahman Mohamed Abdullahi (Irro), who officially opened the conference, underscored his government’s commitment to creating equal employment opportunities for the youth and ensuring fair access to available job opportunities in the country.
