Baidoa December 26, 2022 (SD) – Regional South West MPs accused the federal government of the recent unrest in Baidoa, and that the government is interfering in the political affairs of the regional state.
The MPs accused the Somali armed forces of being used to destabilize the South West state.
They called on the federal government to stop interfering in Baidoa’s political affairs and send the troops back to fighting Al Shabaab.
The parliamentarians said that the South West parliament did not extend the term, of the outgoing president but they did harmonize the term of office of the president and the parliament.
