GAROWE (SD) – Southwest Electoral Committee announces holding the election of the remaining seats of the 11th Federal Parliament in Baidoa.

A statement from the Southwest Electoral Commission said they will hold the election of the last 7 seats in the regional state.

The committee is expected to announce on the next few days the schedules and traditional elders’ and civil society selecting the delegation that will vote for the Parliamentarians.

Somalia’s Southwest regional member state is expected to be the first to completely conclude the 11th parliamentary elections, with few days remaining election deadline.

The Puntland, HirShabelle, Galmudug and Jubbaland regional administration are set to accelerate the election of the Somali Federal Parliamentary seats in their area.
