Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland Police Force today arrested Farah Omar secondary students at a protest rally in front of the Ministry of Education.
Sources close to the students confirmed that nearly 30 students have been arrested at Hargeisa Central Police Station.
The students reportedly clashed with the newly-appointed principal of the school.
The students were shouting their objections to the newly appointed principal from their school to the ministry of education.
Parents of detained students were seen at the Hargeisa Central Police Station, demanding the release of their children.
