Hargeisa (SD) – Taiwan’s newly appointed Ambassador to Somaliland Lou Chen-hwa, started meeting with Somaliland Ministers and other government officials in Hargeisa.

Lou Chen-hwa, Taiwan’s Ambassador to Somaliland accompanied by the Deputy Ambassador, met with the Minister and officials from the Somaliland’s Ministry of Education.

The diplomats and the education minster, discussed bilateral cooperation on education, with a particular focus on Taiwan assisting Somaliland students in obtaining scholarships.

Somaliland and Taiwan have recently signed a historic cooperation agreements on diplomacy and education.

Lou Chen-hwa, a former Taiwanese envoy to Saudi Arabia, was recently appointed to the new post while on a diplomatic visit to Hargeisa.
