MOGADISHU (SD) – Somalia’s regional governments have stopped their cooperation with the Ministry of Finance of Somalia.

In an online meeting held by the finance ministers of the regional states, they’ve accused the federal government’s finance ministry of withdrawing from previous agreements.

The state finance ministers said that the federal ministry of finance has openly violated their agreements with the previous Somalia government of 2019 to 2020.

The minister of finance of the states called for the ministry to return to the framework of the law and the implementation of the previous agreements as stated in the statement they issued.
