The Saudi Arabia has announces tomorrow to be first day of Ramadan

RIYADH (SD) – The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has confirmed that Tomorrow will be the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, after the crescent moon was sighted in some Saudi cities.

The Council of Scholars of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has announced that tomorrow April 2nd 2022 is Ramadan and the Tarawih will commence following evening prayers will begin tonight.

In Islam, Ramzan is the ninth month of the Muslim calendar and the holy month of fasting. It begins and ends with the appearance of the crescent moon.

Ramzan is the holiest month in the Islamic calendar and is believed to be the month during which the Qur’an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (SCW).

The Somali Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs has not yet issued a statement on the start of Ramadan, and the ministry is likely to confirm the beginning of Ramadan to be tomorrow.
