MOGADISHU (SD) – Early this morning, armed militiamen killed two civilians in the Kogar area (also known as Bardhere) within the Adalle District. One victim worked at a local communication center, while the other was employed at a water well in the same area.

Eyewitnesses in Kogar confirmed that the attackers came from Adalle District and fled the scene after carrying out the killings. The exact motive remains unclear, but residents fear the incident could escalate into clan-based tensions.

This attack follows another violent incident days earlier near Adalle, where armed militiamen—also reportedly from Adalle—shot and killed a driver transporting goods. That killing had already heightened fear and unrest among civilians.

No official statement has yet been released by Adalle District authorities or state/federal security agencies regarding these back-to-back killings.
