London (SD) – The UK has announced $ 22 Million in aid to fight locust infestation in countries including Somalia in East Africa and West Asia.

The British ambassador to Somalia said the locusts had severely affected some of Somalia’s most vulnerable communities, and said they were working with the FAO and the Somali government to improve locusts’ control and control.
