Mogadishu (SD) – The director of Somalia’s presidency Abdirashid Mohamed Hashi has issued a statement denying President Farmajo’s alleged trip to Addis Ababa is to sign security agreements with Ethiopia and Eritrea.

The Director of Information of the Somali Presidency noted that President Farmajo’s travels are transparent and that their information is fully communicated to the Somali media.

The statement comes just hours after former Somali Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid tweeted that there was a “dangerous agreement” between Somalia, Ethiopia and Eritrea.
