This registration is not our first, but it was preceded by the 2016 registration for the country’s 2017 presidential election.
The people of Somaliland have registered well, but there are many people who have reached the age of eligibility to register, and there are some people who were out of the country at that time Those who want to register now, there are people at the time who made a mistake or thought the local vote is bad and now they want to register.
This registration provides an opportunity for all those people I mentioned. For the next four days, starting on November 29, 30, 1 and 2, of December.” said Mustafe Mohamed Dahir, deputy chairman of the National Electoral Commission.
