HARGEISA (SD) – Wadani Party Presidential Candidate Dr. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi Irro has yesterday visited members of the opposition who have been detained in Mandhera Prison for the past 15 days.

This is the first time anyone was allowed to visit the inmates during their detention.

Wadani’s presidential candidate observed the situation of these officials as well as the general condition of the inmates at Mandhera Prison.

The Somaliland government is keeping the detainees without a court ruling in accordance with the country’s constitution.

The detainees are due to appear at a Marodijeh court today, they have not being charged with any crime yet.
