Mogadishu (SD) – Somali Foreign Minister Mohamed Abdirizak said in a speech to the United Nations Security Council this afternoon that an agreement had been reached on Somalia’s disputed elections.

The minister said that in principle the parties had agreed on the three points of contention, adding that the final communiqué will be released on Thursday.
