Hargeisa(SD)-Chairman of the Hargeisa Cultural Center, Jama Muse Jama, who spoke to a reporter, said he did not know that Donald Molosi was campaigning for same-sex marriages prior to inviding him to Hageisa.

But Donald Molosi posted on his Twitter account in June this year that he was campaigning for same-sex marriages.

Donald was a guest at the Hargeisa Book Fair this year, as well as a documentary film on the history of his country in Botswana was shown last night at the Hargeisa Cultural center.

The news of Donald’s same-sex marriage caused controversy in the tinny Islamic nation of Somaliland, since same-marriages are illegal.

Donald Molosi has not commented his visit to Somaliland and the role his activism played in his appearance at the Hargeisa cultural events.
