Somaliland has declared state of emergency over Coronavirus outbreak, following confirmed cases in neighbouring countries.

Statement issued by national committee for Coronavirus is said ‘all the concerned parties must follow the measures.’ Flights from affected countries like China, Italy, France, Somalia and Kenya is suspended.

In a period of four weeks, all the public gatherings, and educational centres are prohibited. Health Ministry will also get the access to use the private hospitals and clinics if any need comes.

Somaliland has not yet reported any Covid-19 case, but the measures are all for prevention of the disease, according to government.
