Ahmed Madobe: The federal government failed to unite the country

Kismayo (SD) – Jubaland regional president Ahmed Madobe has accused the federal government of failed political consolidation in the country.

Ahmed Madobe said the Somali government’s leaders could not advance the country in what he called, “I said.”

President Ahmed Madobe made the announcement after returning from Nairobi to the port city of Kismayo on Tuesday.

Ahmed Madobe also said that the people of Jubaland have gone through a lot in the past but that their situation is good now.

Jubaland and the federal government continue to clash over Ahmed Madobe’s re-election as a president in August, which the federal government has rejected the result.
