Hargeisa(SD)-Two Oromo women from Ethiopia were killed on the outskirts of Hargeisa after gunmen opened fire on their vehicle.

Senior Deputy Police Commissioner of the Somaliland Brigadier General Abdirahman Liban Fooxle said the shootings were carried out by a group of people who were apprehended for the killing of the Ethiopian migrants.

“The attackers were drunk, and the home they wanted to take shelter in had more than 800 liters of alcohol, both the driver and the vehicle the migrants were traveling are now in the hands of the security agencies,” he said.

The attack also injured some of the occupants of the vehicle who were said to be all migrants.
