Hargeisa(SD)-The Somaliland government has shut down yet another media house, HCTV television station based in Hargeisa today.

Also, Television editor Abdiqadir Saleban Caseyr (Codey) was arrested and the two are accused of two separate crimes.

The complaint was lodged by Hargeisa Airport Manager Mohamed Rodol and the ban by the Minister of Information, Mohamed Muse Diriye, was not disclosed.

This yet another bold move to muzzle the free press in Somaliland, there has been a rash of arrests targeting the media since Muse Bihi’s presidency there.
