The group released photos of fighters armed with small arms and said they were training at a military base in the mountains of Bari region of Puntland after joining the group.

Military training camp is named “camp Dawoud al Somali” and is the name after a killed military trainer.

Daish’s assertion that new fighters joined their forces, reinforces a report issued by the United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) that says that Daish wing in Somalia is still recruiting new fighters.

Despite military operations and airstrikes on the Daqish group in the mountains of Puntland, they are still able to attract new militias, according to AFRICOM.
