Kenya responds to Somalia’s Interference accusations

Nairobi (SD) – The Kenyan government responded to Somalia’s accusation of intervening on its internal affairs.

Kenyan government’s spokesman Colonel Cyrus Oguna told the BBC that Kenya has not yet received any formal accusations from Somalia, except in press release.

He said if Somalia has a case it should go through the Kenyan embassy in Mogadishu.

Oguna, speaking on the presence of Abdirashid Janan, an escape from the Somali government in Mandera, said “There is no reason to host any escape.” Oguna in response to the crisis in Beled-Hawa and the Somalia troop’s offensive against Jubaland, said Kenya is only keeping security at its borders
