Hargeisa (SD) – Somaliland’s Minister of Public Works Abdirashid Haji Duale Qambi has apologized to HASS Petroleum for his accusations.

The minister was accompanied by the Speaker of the Somaliland House of Representatives Bashe Mohamed Farah and Somaliland’s Minister of Information, Saleban Ali Kore, when making the apology.

“Since I cannot say for sure, that HASS has invested money on the Buhodle militia, I apologize to the company” said Minister Qambi.

Minister Qambi demanded that HASS remove one of the individuals who claimed to be the company head CEO Mogadishu, due to his involvement with the Buhodle rebel Group.

The same un-named Individual claimed the minister was trying to extort funds from him, while they met in Addis Ababa recently, the minister denied that allegation.

Somaliland is currently facing a mounting opposition from multiple sources in Buhodle region of Togdher.
