Dhusamareb(SD)-Somali interior minister Abdi Mohamed Sabriye while in Dhusamareb rebuked Ahlu Sunna Waljama’a’s statement that the government has violated their agreement.

“The first point was: To gain confidence and a secure environment that facilitates free and fair elections, it is essential that federal and state agencies work together to ensure security at the Galmudug regional headquarters, this is why the government in order to strengthen the security, we provided forces in Dhusamare-Mareb with up to 400 joint forces, ”Minister Sabriye said.

Although the situation in Dhusamareb district remains calm, the conflict between the two sides remains unresolved, with Ahlu Sunna officials strongly opposed to the government troops deployed in Dhusamareb.
