Garowe(SD)-The operation has been targeted at areas known terrorist groups in the region hide, with the outcome of killing top leaders.

Somali commandos in collaboration with international partners have killed three leaders of the Daesh terrorist group near the Golis Mountains in Puntland, they were causing problems for the public, as confirmed by the officers conducting the operation.

The site of the operation is located approximately 150 kilometers southwest of Bossaso, the capital of Bari region of Puntland.

In addition to the assassination the Daish leaders, there are no reported civilian losses suffered during the ongoing operation, the officials said.

The operation was a routine in targeting militants and leaders of terrorist groups hiding in parts of the country.
