Bossaso (SD)- President of Puntland State of Somalia, Said Abdullahi Deni, today announced a conference in Bossaso which will focus on the future of Puntland and its status in Somalia.
President Deni said the conference will take place in Garowe on the 15th of March this year, which will be attended by the Puntland councils, Puntland representatives in the federal government of Somalia and anyone who has say in Puntland’s fate.
Deni accused the federal government of wasting its resources in a media fight against anyone who disagreed with what was going on.
President Deni for the first time addressed the education crisis and said Puntland does not need any high school diploma from the central government.
The President pointed to recent comments from the federal minister of education to high light how the federal government wants to rule from Mogadishu.
The federal government of Somalia didn’t respond to the regional states plans on its position in federal government or its allegations on not following the agreed upon constitution.
